Is 2022 the golden year for Tv & film? The content I’m looking forward to this Spring!

Hi loves,

It’s been a while.

I’ve had a break from my blog for a few weeks whilst I’ve been working on commissions and some small business bits and bobs. I plan on talking about this more, however, I just wanted to pop in and share my excitement for this golden month of cinematography we’ve unexpectedly been gifted with this month. Cosy introverts raise your hand!

Let’s start with the first two series that have already aired…

🌸 Pam and Tommy (Disney + series)

Love, love, love Lily James. I think she’s brilliant and such a wonderful actress so naturally I was intrigued to see this series. I had never heard of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s story and of course this reckless pair are very interesting.
It wasn’t for me but saying that, I did return every Wednesday to find out what happens.

🌸 22 kids and counting (My5/ Freeview)

Real life documentary’s like this intrigue me the most. When the people are genuine and the viewer is not being sold a gimmick. Very interesting, hectic.

🌸 Bridgerton series 2 (Netflix premiere March 25th)

I’m so ready for this. I’ve been trying not to get my hopes up but the build-up has swept me up with all the excitement. I’m so looking forward to this season. Plus intrigued to see how Lady Whistledown’s story develops.

🌸 Olivia Rodrigo: driving home 2 u film (Disney + premieres March 25th)

A movie about the sour album and making of? Yes please! Big fan of the album and getting to know behind the scenes is my favourite type of content.

🌸 How I met your father (Disney + premieres 11th May)

Not airing this month but I’m looking forward to it nonetheless.

I’ve seen a comment from someone that’s seen the show that says, ‘This is giving me adult Lizzie McGuire vibes and I’m here for it’. Well, me too hun.
I loved the original How I met your mother, plus Hilary Duff who is on the visions board from my childhood, I’m very much looking forward to it.

🌸 The Lost City (in cinemas March 25th)

Initially saw the trailer 2 months back and it’s been on my to-watch list ever since. It feels like a golden oldie noughties film- especially with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. I have a feeling it’s going to be a great watch.

Thank you for reading todays post! If you have any recommendations for great films and shows please let me know.

Big love,

Bud xx
