Irish Cream And Chocolate Experiment / Blogmas Day Twenty-Two
The following blog post contains references to drinking alcohol, the author encourages responsible drinking for those over 18 years of age only.
December 22nd- Theme: Santa
I don't drink very much alcohol at all, if ever, but I quite like Bailey's Irish Cream. I discovered a video clip on Instagram involving chocolate and Baileys, today's theme being Santa the switch flipped and I decided to conduct a little experiment.
- I grabbed a Santa decoration from off of the Christmas tree- you might recognise from Blogmas Day Three, I did eventually get one before Christmas day! *Whoop*.
- Using a knife, I tried my best to cut a hole in the top of the chocolate Santa. I ended up cutting an imperfect hole, not in the middle top but the back of the head area.
- Shook up my bottle of Ballycastle Irish Country Cream and carefully poured it into the hollow chocolate Santa.
- I then collected squirty cream from the fridge and sprayed the cream in a circular motion, on top of the chocolate.
- Cinnamon was sprinkled over the top and done.
Or so I thought............
I wanted the aesthetic perfect and so I attempted to move the cream around (there's probably a better way than doing this with your fingers). This ended up un-saveable so I took a bite; appearing done.
I managed to create a perfect half, then decided to spray cream on top and sprinkle cinnamon.
Voila: an Irish Cream chocolate cup!
The experiment would've taken about a minute and a half without all the faffing, Good luck if you wanted to have a go yourself!
Thank you for reading and Merry December 22nd!
Love Buddy Summer xx
